    The halloumi cheese is made in Cyprus by our company Stelios S. Staurinou LTD. The founders and owners are Mr. Stelios, that graduated from the Ioannina Dairy School, and his wife Mrs. Lygia. They started together 25 years ago! Mrs. Lygia grew up in a small village called Saint Ambrosios in Cyprus and spent her summers with her family’s sheep in the fields. From a young age, she learned all the key secrets for making halloumi cheese as if she knew as a child that she would do this as a living in the future! In the end, science met tradition and tradition met science. For 25 years now, Lygia’s halloumi possesses a special position in the market. It’s famous for its authenticity and its quality since its produced from 100% sheep’s milk, under the strictest sanitary conditions. Thank you! Lygia Stylianou
